35KV Aluminum Alloy Cables deliver comparable electrical characteristics to their copper-core counterparts while costing approximately 30% to 50% less. Q: Can you introduce me about more details about 35KV Aluminum Alloy Cables?

A: An extruded semiconducting cross-linked composite is applied over the primary insulation layer. This semiconducting layer may be of either bonded or peelable type to facilitate splicing or termination procedures. Optionally, a semiconductive tape can be added over the extruded semiconducting layer to serve as a matting surface. The meter shield, with a minimum thickness of 0.3 mm and a maximum resistivity of 500 ohms measured at 90°C, is firmly bonded to the insulation to eliminate air gaps and remains readily removable by hand onsite. For PVC or EPR/HEPR insulated cables rated between 1.8/3 kV and 3.6/6 kV, an insulating shield is not required. The shield may also be helically wrapped around the semiconductor waterproof layer to provide longitudinal water resistance.
