Voltage Rating: Be sure to check whether the rated voltage of the cable (300/500V) meets the requirements of the equipment.

Alternative models: In the national standard GB/T series, the model with the closest performance is JHS-300/500 V. Sometimes you may also see the replacement with general-purpose rubber cables such as YZW, YCW, etc., but their waterproof (especially immersion) performance is usually not as good as that of the specialized JHS cables. For long term water immersion, JHS/JHS-300/500V is a more specialized and reliable choice.

Non-fixed Laying: JHS is designed to be moved and stowed and is not recommended for long-term use as a fixed laying trunk cable.
