The installation and laying of control and signal cables shall meet the following requirements:
1. Layout of power cables and signal cables. Reasonably arrange the direction of power cables and measurement signal cables, allowing for right angle crossing, but avoiding parallel wiring. If it cannot be avoided, unless shielding measures are taken, the distance between the two should be greater than 1m.
2. Requirements for vertical cable segments. The vertical cable must be fixed on the crossbar and spaced no more than 2m apart.
3. Safety protection measures for cables. Safety protection measures such as isolation should be taken for places where cables may be damaged due to medium leakage of mechanical equipment along the cable laying route, or between thermal control steam, water, and oil measurement pipelines.
4. Requirements for communication cables. Communication cables should use independent cable trays or add metal isolation layers.
5. Requirements for primary component lead wires. The lead wires of primary components should have measures to prevent vibration, friction, overheating, insulation damage, or disconnection, loose wiring, and open circuits
6. Requirements for intermediate joints. Usually, cables should not have intermediate joints. If necessary, the intermediate joints of the cable should be cold pressed or welded according to the process requirements, and then sealed after passing the quality inspection; When laying compensating wires, no joints are allowed in the middle.
7. Requirements for cable shielding layer. The shielding layer of the cable for important signals should be broken as close as possible to the terminal block. When cutting the outer sheath of a cable, precautions should be taken to prevent damage to the insulation layer of the core wire.
